In Mold Labels

In a League of its Own

In-mold is a labeling technology in which a label is adhered to the container during the molding process.

Manufactured at Multi-Color Corporation's Scottsburg, IN, Norway, MI, and Batavia, OH facilities, the labels can be printed flexographic, gravure or offset. Once printed, the labels are die cut and shipped to the molder where they are pulled from a magazine and placed in the mold.

In-mold capabilities offer your package:

  • The ability to handle unique container shapes
  • Product security
  • Eliminates delamination
  • No post mold labeling costs
  • Potential for lightweighting of the bottle
